(Warcraft News) The WoW Name Game (Voodoo Extreme)
While cruising the interdweeb, Miguel Lopez came across some folks mining the WoW Armory site, in search of common character names. Prior to that (mid-late '90s, iirc), used Mortis, Gabriel, & other sorta plain names. When I played the Worms series, had names like Chrometheous, Bucket-kicker, Moonshae, KennyAvenger (warped into KennyLingus later) & some others I don't remember. Interesting how there's one name/two spellings of a DragonLance character, & two names from Forgotten Realms . Cooter Snacks, Cooter Beast, Cooter Burn, Cooter Shock, Toxy Coot. We used to play Q2/Q3 with names like Cathy Lee Gifford and Colonel Lingus (fun to see info come across the screen like "Cathy Lee Gifford rides Colonel Lingus' rocket! read more
