Earlier this year, it looked like Blizzard, the company behind the game, was planning to get the patch implemented before the end of the year, but that looks like it won’t happen and players will continue to have to wait until early 2008. While that’s great news for me and others who play for a good portion of the night when the realms are usually down for maintenance, it also means the patch won’t be implemented, because patches always mean long down times for servers. That’s bad news for me, as my character doesn’t even have Tier 4 stuff yet, though most of my gear is pretty comparable.
