Significant amount of development team was pulled to work on WoW, Blizzard says. Blame World of WarCraft , said Blizzard vice president of game design Rob Pardo. StarCraft II lead producer Chris Sigaty was one of those who was pulled away to work on WoW. Despite that though, Blizzard had a playable version of StarCraft II by 2005.
